Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. Deliver specialized instruction using diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles. Collaborate closely with parents, general education teachers, and specialists to support holistic student development. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes. Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes behavioral and academic growth. Maintain accurate records of student performance, IEP goals, and compliance documentation. Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development to continually enhance teaching effectiveness. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field. California State Teaching Credential in Special Education. At least 1 year of experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws and ethical practices. Familiarity with software tools for student assessment and IEP documentation.
