Synco Staff X is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team in Santa Cruz, CA . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. Provide specialized instruction using diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Collaborate closely with parents, educators, and specialists for a holistic approach to student growth. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes. Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports behavioral and academic development. Maintain accurate records of student performance, IEP goals, and compliance documentation. Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development to enhance instructional effectiveness. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field. California State Teaching Credential in Special Education. Minimum of 1 year experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws and ethical practices. Familiarity with software tools for student assessment and IEP documentation. This position is part of a collaborative team including general education teachers and special education staff, dedicated to student success.
