Globalpointinc is seeking a skilled SQL Database Developer for a contract position in Little Rock, AR. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries and database systems. Perform database maintenance tasks such as backups, restoration, and integrity checks. Collaborate with data analysts and software developers to design efficient database architectures. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues promptly. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database processes and procedures. Ensure data integrity and security across all database environments. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Proficient in SQL with a strong understanding of relational database concepts. Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with best practices in database design and development. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Minimum 2 years of experience in SQL development or related roles preferred. You will report directly to the Lead Database Administrator and work closely with IT and business units to align with project goals and organizational strategy.
