Staff Product Engineer

About the role

Vistance Networks provides end-to-end access network solutions, including optical, HFC, and broadband technologies. The Product Compliance Staff Engineer will lead and manage global regulatory certification and market access activities for electronic products, supporting product development and successful product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product certification processes, from requirements definition and testing through certification and product launch.
• Define and execute global certification strategies across LATAM, North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, product safety, EMC, RF/wireless, and labeling requirements.
• Support approvals including FCC, CE, UKCA, CB Scheme, NOM, CRT, ANATEL, Subtel, Inmetro, and other international approvals.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Mexico NOM compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Support implementation of environmental compliance with substance restrictions and hazardous substances.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in regulatory certification, environmental compliance, product safety, energy efficiency, EMC, wireless, homologation, and global market access.
• Strong experience coordinating with laboratories, certification bodies, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with NOM certification in Mexico and LATAM regulatory frameworks is essential.
