Canopy is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to develop its next-generation sensing data pipeline, building the physical full stack from firmware and edge algorithms to the backend and frontend services that power them. The role bridges physical hardware and cloud systems, applying physics-based modeling to solve complex sensing challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of next-generation hardware for healthcare professionals.
• Design and implement robust firmware across Canopy devices.
• Translate hardware schematics and firmware design into products for harsh environments.
• Help shape technical direction, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Help build highly automated development environments to accelerate prototyping and verification cycles.

Requirements
