Store Retail Manager - Eataly Houston (New Store Opening!)

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace. Each Eataly has its own character and theme, with the shared aim of helping guests eat authentic Italian food, shop for high-quality Italian, local and homemade products, and learn through classes and team product knowledge.

The Store Retail Manager oversees daily retail operations, operational excellence, financial performance, and the guest experience across all retail departments. Reporting to the Store Director, this role provides hands-on leadership, drives operational execution, develops managers, and partners to execute business priorities and support overall store performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day retail operations and work to achieve departmental goals, operational standards, and financial objectives.
• Execute retail business plans and operational initiatives established by store and company leadership to drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with department managers to coordinate daily operations, resolve challenges, and strengthen collaboration across the store.
• Monitor sales, labor, inventory, shrink, and margin performance; identify opportunities and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Ensure merchandising, promotional programs, pricing, inventory management, and product assortment plans are executed consistently and in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, visual merchandising, and inventory accuracy.
