Systems Integration Engineer, High Speed Missiles

The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team designs and integrates advanced hardware for missile platforms. The team owns the full development lifecycle, from concept generation to integration and flight test, developing high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems for complex, contested environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission systems into air vehicles.
• Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components, including large assembly model management.
• Conduct simulations and analyses, including hand calculations and finite element analysis, to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
• Lead design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans.
• Support critical hardware demonstrations for customers as required.
• Travel to test sites or vendor facilities as needed to support development and integration efforts.
