About the role
Adaptive Technology Insights (ATI) is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead complex technology initiatives for one of its global enterprise clients. The TPM bridges business objectives and technical execution, working with software engineers, data engineers, architects, QA teams, product owners, data professionals and business stakeholders.
Unlike a traditional Project Manager, the TPM needs sufficient technical depth to understand solution architecture, system integrations, data flows, dependencies and software-delivery processes, and to effectively challenge, coordinate and communicate with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology, data and digital initiatives.
- Translate business objectives and requirements into actionable technical delivery plans.
- Partner with architects and engineering leads to understand solution architecture, technical dependencies, integrations and implementation risks.
- Coordinate software engineering, data engineering, architecture, QA/testing, DevOps and business teams.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering technical milestones, releases, dependencies and resource requirements.
- Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog coordination, stand-ups, retrospectives and release planning.
- Track technical dependencies across applications, APIs, data platforms, environments and external systems.
- Identify and proactively manage technical risks, blockers, architectural dependencies and delivery constraints.
- Coordinate release readiness, testing, deployment and production-stabilization activities.
- Ensure coordination across development, QA, infrastructure/cloud, security and operations teams.
- Facilitate technical design and architecture discussions and ensure decisions, dependencies and actions are documented and followed through.
