Key Responsibilities Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety. Load and unload materials carefully, ensuring proper securing of cargo. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of driving hours, inspections, and maintenance activities. Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to management. Follow all company policies and safety procedures strictly. Coordinate effectively with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and schedule adherence. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating heavy vehicles in industrial or mining environments. Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operations and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret road signs, maps, and delivery instructions. Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations in South Africa. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physical stamina and capability to handle heavy loads when necessary. This is a full-time position based in Secunda, requiring teamwork with logistics and operations personnel to ensure smooth and safe delivery of materials within the mining sector. You will report directly to the logistics manager and collaborate cross-functionally to meet operational goals. Compensation: R20,000 per month.
