About the role
TMD Staffing - Austin is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Wire Harness Assembly Worker in Georgetown, TX. The role involves producing high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using hand tools and equipment.
- Cut, strip, crimp, solder and install connectors.
- Follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized and ESD-safe workstation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Wire harness or related assembly experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read diagrams and work instructions; IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification is a plus.
- Experience in an AS9100D / ISO 9001 environment is a plus.
- Able to stand and/or bend periodically and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Dayshift, Monday through Friday.
