Workshop Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate mechanics and drivers. Schedule drivers’ daily duties. Plan daily collections and deliveries with all departments. Coordinate weekly vehicle inspections and checks. Work with mechanics to evaluate and assess vehicles. Identify and source parts required for repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed vehicle maintenance and repair records. Keep records of parts purchased and work completed. Plan and monitor vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance. Ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy and operational. Provide a daily workshop report on work completed. Prepare a plan of action for the following day. Requirements include previous experience in a similar position, mechanical background and knowledge of vehicle maintenance, experience in sourcing vehicle parts, strong organisational and planning skills, ability to supervise and coordinate staff, punctuality, reliability, responsibility, independence, and residence close to Ottery / Southern Suburbs.
