Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle following all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Transport freight to various destinations, ensuring on-time deliveries and schedule adherence. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and roadworthiness. Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records compliant with DOT standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate routes and resolve issues. Assist with loading and unloading cargo, following proper handling procedures. Participate in ongoing training and company meetings to stay current on policies and regulations. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. At least 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred. Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation compliance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability on the road.
