Job description
The Southern Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Hospice Care to join our dedicated team in Augusta, GA. This part-time role focuses on providing essential support and compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, enhancing their comfort and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance. Monitor and record patient vital signs; promptly report changes to nursing staff. Assist with safe mobility and transferring of patients between positions and locations. Communicate care plans effectively to patients and families, addressing their questions and needs. Accurately document all care provided in patient records in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; assist with household tasks as needed. Support emotional and psychological well-being of patients and family members through compassionate communication. Required and Preferred Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required. Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high-quality patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred but not mandatory.
