Role: Data Engineer

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Mail Intelligence Mission by supporting AI/ML capabilities that enhance user personalization and insights.
• Innovate and personalize user experiences by building scalable solutions to identify user interests and habits.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines using frameworks such as DataProc, Dataflow, and Composer.
• Streamline data processing and orchestration, utilizing Data Lake and Pub/Sub for storage and streaming.
• Create insightful visualizations with Looker Studio to support AI/ML initiatives.
• Read, analyze, and integrate existing Java codebases to understand upstream and downstream services, ensuring seamless data pipeline integration.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the USA to integrate data solutions that improve user experiences.

About You:

• Educational Background: Strong foundation in computer science, data engineering, or related fields with a focus on big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, Python, and practical knowledge of Java (ability to read, trace, and understand Java code). Experienced with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Skilled in stream and batch processing frameworks, data visualization tools, and implementing data governance best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Compensation: $95,000 per year
