Key Responsibilities Lead and support substation projects up to 765kV, including physical design and protection & controls engineering. Develop detailed drawings, schematics, layouts, relay panel wiring, grounding, and auxiliary power systems. Conduct QA/QC reviews of design packages, mentor junior engineers, and manage project deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to maintain technical excellence and project alignment. Prepare project budgets, schedules, and specifications for procurement and construction phases. Assist in business development by presenting proposals and designs to potential clients. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage (69 kV and above) substation design within the US power utility sector. Experience as a project lead or technical specialist in substation engineering. Strong skills in QA/QC processes and client coordination. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
