Part-Time Fire Service Advisor / Consultant Location: Los Angeles, California, United States Type: Part-Time Consultant / Contract (5–10 hours per week) Sector: Firefighter Technology / Public Safety Innovation Overview BANC3 is pioneering new technology to support firefighters in safely and effectively combating fires. Developed in collaboration with the Department of War (DoW), this innovative system aims to meet the real operational needs of firefighters and fire departments. We are seeking a Los Angeles–based Fire Service Advisor to ensure firefighter perspectives and operational requirements are integrated throughout the development process. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on firefighter operational needs and fireground realities. Incorporate firefighter input and operational feedback into the technology development process. Facilitate introductions to leadership, operational personnel, and technology evaluators within the Los Angeles Fire Department and neighboring fire agencies. Advise on aligning technology solutions with fire department protocols and municipal public safety priorities. Ideal Candidate This role is perfect for a respected member of the fire service community—such as a retired chief officer, battalion chief, or senior fire service leader—who maintains strong relationships within Los Angeles fire departments and city leadership.
