Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following strict safety protocols. Monitor and document vital signs, treatment responses, and patient condition changes. Educate patients on health management and post-discharge care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Respond efficiently and calmly to medical emergencies. Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations. Required and Preferred Qualifications Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification is mandatory. Experience in Med Surg Acute or Correctional LVN nursing preferred. Minimum 2 years nursing experience in LVN MedSurg or Correctional settings. CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and IV Therapy certifications required.
