We’re looking for experienced QC Inspector Coating specialists to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This role is not remote; candidates must be available to work on-site in Chennai. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality control inspections of hydrocarbon piping and pipeline coating activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Perform coating repair and application tasks following the approved coating system, maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety protocols. Document inspection results accurately, preparing detailed reports and non-conformance records to support project quality assurance. Collaborate closely with project engineers, contractors, and clients to address coating issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Ensure adherence to Aramco and other relevant certification standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements. Monitor coating materials and equipment usage to optimize resource efficiency and minimize waste. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on coating processes and recommending enhancements. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety guidelines and participating in safety meetings and trainings. What We're Looking For Required: 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a QC Inspector in coating activities, specifically in hydrocarbon piping and pipeline projects. Valid BGAS certification; Aramco-approved certification is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of coating repair techniques and application standards. Excellent documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. Commitment to safety and quality standards in industrial environments. Preferred: Experience working on Aramco-approved projects or similar high-standard oil and gas industry contracts. Additional certifications related to welding or piping inspection (CSWIP) are a plus. Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced project demands.
