Key Responsibilities Provide precise interpretation services during medical consultations, examinations, and treatments, ensuring no loss of meaning between Spanish and English speakers. Interpret complex medical terminology accurately to support clear understanding for both patients and healthcare providers. Assist in translating medical documents while preserving the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. Maintain a professional, confidential environment during all patient interactions, adhering to HIPAA and local privacy standards. Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance interpreting techniques and medical knowledge. Collaborate closely with medical staff to clarify communication and resolve any misunderstandings promptly. Document and report any interpretation challenges or issues to improve service quality continuously. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field. Fluency in Spanish and English with excellent oral comprehension and communication skills. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols. Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical interpreter, preferably in healthcare settings. Proficiency with interpretation and documentation software tools. Preferred: Certification in medical interpreting (e.g., CMI, CHI). Experience working in hospitals or clinics in Mexico City.
