Spanish to English Medical Interpreter - Mexico City

LanguagesCX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Spanish to English Medical Interpreter to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps within the healthcare industry, ensuring Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking medical professionals communicate effectively for optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation services during medical consultations, examinations, and treatments between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers. Interpret complex medical terminology clearly to ensure mutual understanding. Assist in translating medical documents while preserving original meaning and accuracy. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Engage in ongoing training to enhance interpreting skills and medical knowledge. Collaborate with healthcare staff to resolve communication issues and ensure clarity. Document and report any interpretation challenges to support continuous service improvement. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field. Fluency in Spanish and English with excellent comprehension and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols. Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical interpreter in healthcare settings preferred. Relevant certifications in medical interpreting are an advantage. Proficiency with interpretation and documentation software tools. Compensation: $5.50 USD per hour Location: Mexico City, Mexico (On-site, full-time)
