IT Security and Infrastructure Manager
Orchestrated the IT and network infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and encompassing Cloud/On-Premises connectivity architecture.. Engineered and deployed VPN tunnels and SSL-VPN connections to establish secure interconnections for sites and remote users.. Established and maintained information security controls in adherence to frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF.. Initiated and led phishing simulations and Whitebox attack testing to rigorously assess the organization's security posture.. Formulated Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and directed the response to critical incidents.. Facilitated clear communication between technical and business teams, acting as a liaison to promote the adoption of new technologies.
IT Infrastructure Manager
Guaranteed business continuity and network availability, thereby minimizing the economic impact of platform failures.. Oversaw the efficient operation of the technology platform, ensuring compliance with information security regulations.. Managed vendor compliance through contractual and functional oversight, aligning their services with strategic business needs.
Activations Engineer
Executed IP connectivity service activations between LUMEN clients and the network infrastructure, incorporating BGP routing.. Conducted channel saturation tests using cyclic routing to validate network bandwidth.. Enhanced circuit redundancy by deploying VRRP, HSRP, and Elfiq traffic load balancers.. Managed network quality of service by implementing QoS policies and actively monitoring interface traffic.
Software Development Technical Instructor
Instructed apprentices in the Software Programming Technician program on programming fundamentals, SQL/MySQL/MSSQL Server, and web development (PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).. Spearheaded the development of .NET web applications (ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server) and guided the formulation of software micro-projects.
VoIP Implementation Engineer
Deployed VoIP solutions for clients on the LiveVox platform, establishing SIP Trunk links with client SBC/PBX.. Configured IPSEC VPN tunnels (IKEv1/2) to secure connections between client instances and the platform backbone.. Integrated MPLS links from multiple providers (AT&T, CenturyLink, XO, Verizon) utilizing BGP routing.. Authored comprehensive documentation for implementation processes and provided Tier 2 support for VoIP connectivity challenges.
Data Network Management Instructor
Educated apprentices in the Data Network Management program, focusing on Cisco technologies (CCNA Routing & Switching).. Delivered training modules covering network and systems security, including SELinux, Cisco hardening, TLS, access lists, and IPSEC.. Administered CentOS/RedHat servers and managed network monitoring systems such as Nagios, Cacti, LogicMonitor, and Zabbix.. Contributed to the curriculum development for the Data Network Management program.
Adjunct Lecturer – Research Assistant
Provided instruction in the Communications Systems Laboratory, Data Transmission Lines, and Data Networks courses.
