Service & Dispatch Assistant

Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, unpacking, inspecting, storing, picking, packing and dispatching stock.. Verify stock received against invoices, delivery notes and picking documentation to ensure accuracy.. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts and stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.. Investigate stock variances and report shortages, damages and discrepancies for corrective action.. Capture and maintain accurate warehouse transactions and stock records using company systems.. Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading and movement of stock throughout the warehouse.. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles while ensuring safe handling of products.. Coordinate dispatch activities and ensure orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.. Collaborate with drivers, warehouse teams and management to improve operational efficiency.. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure work areas comply with 5S and Health & Safety requirements.. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with quotations, product specifications and enquiries.. Consistently follow company procedures, safety regulations and quality standards.
