Accounts Payable Specialist

Tasks

• Code utility and corporate invoices using OpenInvoice.
• Manage weekly check runs using Enertia and Excel.
• Prepare weekly payment reports using Excel, including pivot tables and subtotals.
• Monitor and manage the AP email inbox for utility invoices and payment notifications.
• Maintain vendor records, including email addresses, ACH information, and mailing addresses.
• Coordinate vendor updates and payment information with Land and other internal departments.
• Communicate professionally with vendors regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
• Record manual checks and ACH payments.
• Prepare month-end CapEx and OpEx reports.
• Support monthly close procedures and meet critical reporting deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous Accounts Payable experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience with OpenInvoice and Enertia.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and subtotals.
• Understanding of weekly payment cycles and month-end close procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and vendor relationship management skills.
• Must be available immediately!
