Job description
Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for a contract or full-time, onsite role in Montreal, Quebec. In this position, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wide-body and narrow-body aircraft, helping support fleet safety, airworthiness, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft systems and troubleshoot discrepancies to verify safety and airworthiness.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and avionics maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
- Coordinate with team members to manage maintenance workflows and operational schedules.
- Document maintenance work and discrepancies accurately in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with safety procedures and relevant aviation maintenance standards.
- Contribute to projects that improve maintenance processes and reduce aircraft downtime.
- Communicate effectively with engineering staff and other departments to support reliable operations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Mandatory FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Strong aircraft troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of safety practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with avionics systems and components.
- Three or more years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant maintenance software and tools.
