Duties
• Handle appellate oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.• Draft persuasive appellate briefs, legal memoranda, and complex motions.• Support trial teams throughout all stages of litigation and appeals.• Participate in charge conferences and preserve appellate issues during trial proceedings.• Analyze trial records and identify appealable legal issues.• Conduct comprehensive legal research involving complex procedural and substantive matters.• Prepare motions, responses, and supporting documentation for appellate proceedings.• Assist trial counsel in preserving issues for appellate review.• Collaborate closely with litigation teams to develop effective appellate strategies.• Participate in case evaluations and formulate legal recommendations.• Communicate effectively with clients regarding litigation strategy and appellate developments.• Manage multiple appellate matters while consistently meeting court deadlines.

Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of appellate litigation and trial support experience.• Active Bar admission and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.• Exceptional academic credentials.• Demonstrated excellence in legal writing and appellate advocacy.• Strong understanding of appellate procedure and trial practice.• Experience drafting appellate briefs and complex legal motions.• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.• Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities.• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within collaborative litigation teams.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.________________________________________
