Audit Manager

AUDIT MANAGER

Our client is a well-established public accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead financial statement audit engagements, manage client relationships, supervise audit teams, and work closely with firm leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial statement audit engagements from planning through completion
- Plan, execute, and oversee audits in accordance with professional standards
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation
- Manage client expectations, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit associates and senior team members
- Research and resolve complex accounting and audit issues
- Ensure audit quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and leadership
- Support business development and client-service initiatives
- Improve audit processes, procedures, and team efficiency

Mandatory Requirements:
✔️ Active CPA license required
✔️ 5+ years of public accounting / A&A experience
✔️ 5+ years of financial statement audit experience
✔️ 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
✔️ Strong financial statement audit background
✔️ Private equity exposure is strongly preferred/required
✔️ Proven team leadership and client-management experience
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with private equity-backed clients
- Experience auditing privately held, investment-backed, or middle-market organizations
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Experience managing complex audit assignments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management ski
