Automatic Truck and Trailer Mechanic Jobs in Houston, TX

Peace Global Logistics is hiring a full-time Automatic Truck/Trailer Mechanic in Houston, Texas. This is an in-person role for a mechanic with experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing automatic trucks and trailers. Pay is $30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automatic trucks and trailers, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections and follow applicable regulations and company policies.
• Repair or replace parts to keep equipment in safe, reliable working condition.
• Maintain accurate repair logs, work records, and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the team to reduce downtime and support efficient operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an automatic truck or trailer mechanic, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Automatic truck/trailer repair certification preferred; ability to obtain certification is acceptable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting heavy objects.
