Job description
Peace Global Logistics is hiring an experienced Automatic Truck/Trailer Mechanic in Houston, Texas. Join our team to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot automatic trucks and trailers ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automatic trucks and trailers, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Repair and replace parts as needed, ensuring equipment is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair logs
- Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an automatic truck/trailer mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Certification in automatic truck/trailer repair preferred or ability to obtain
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
