About the role

Support automation strategy, material flow optimization, warehouse capacity planning, and advanced material handling system evaluation within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Tasks

• Evaluate and recommend material handling automation solutions.
• Support selection, sizing, evaluation, and deployment of automation systems.
• Develop automation concepts and compare operational alternatives.
• Define fleet sizing, throughput, storage density, and utilization assumptions.
• Evaluate material flow, inventory placement, and replenishment strategies.
• Support simulation and Digital Twin scenario analysis.
• Develop business cases based on labor savings, operational efficiency, and ROI.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Automotive Logistics / In-Plant Logistics / Industrial Engineering.
• Material Handling Automation System Selection & Evaluation.
• Hands-on exposure to AMR, AGV, ASRS, and Autonomous Fork Trucks (AFT).
• Experience with throughput analysis, fleet sizing, storage requirements, and ROI.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, supplier parks, sequencing centers, or 3PL operations.
• Preferred: ASRS Design / Evaluation.
• Preferred: AMR / AGV Deployment.
• Preferred: Warehouse Automation Business Cases.
• Preferred: Simulation, Modeling & Digital Twin initiatives.
• Preferred: Highly Automated Manufacturing Environments.
