About the role

Blaise Alexander Chevrolet GMC of Mansfield is hiring an automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles and perform maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles and accurately perform assigned repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs you are tasked and qualified to perform.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the group leader and service advisor about recommended repairs and maintenance.
• Record services and repairs performed and recommended to preserve vehicle records.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Requirements

• PA State Inspection Certification required.
• Comfort with all makes and models of vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs and extended periods of standing, sitting, and kneeling.
