Hiring 3–4 Backend/Full Stack Engineers to help build financial infrastructure that already processes billions of dollars in non-profit payments.

Join an engineering team building Chariot’s payment platform. You’ll own systems end to end, from architecture through shipping, and work directly with founders and leadership. This is a high-autonomy role where your judgment helps shape what gets built. We’re looking for engineers with strong technical convictions who communicate clearly and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼
- Build and own backend applications and components powering Chariot’s payment platform, from design through production
- Contribute to architecture decisions across APIs, backend systems, and infrastructure; help define team standards and best practices
- Collaborate with founders, Product, and Engineering through whiteboarding sessions and technical debates
- Improve real-time monitoring and alerting to understand user behavior and iterate on the product
- Work across a range of platform projects and contribute across the full stack
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- 2–10 years of backend engineering experience
- Experience at a reputable, growing company (Capital One-tier or faster) Or VC-backed startup experience preferred
- Experience owning and building scalable backend systems end to end- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Fintech or payments infrastructure experience
- Proficiency in Go or Node.js
- Experience with Terraform and AWS infrastructure
