Job description
Rekruiters Consultancy is hiring a CAD Design Engineer for oil industry projects in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This on-site contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to engineering design and project execution while collaborating with engineering, project management, and site operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed CAD drawings and designs for oil industry projects using AutoCAD.
- Work with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Perform design calculations and simulations to evaluate feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Revise existing designs based on feedback and project needs while maintaining quality control.
- Help coordinate project workflows and timelines to support on-time completion.
- Conduct site visits as needed to collect design and project execution data.
- Prepare and present design documentation and reports to stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and plant design software.
- At least 3 years of CAD design experience in the oil industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Experience with relevant industry standards and practices.
- CAD design or relevant engineering certifications are preferred.
Team and Reporting
You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional engineering, project management, and site operations teams to align project goals and timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
