Tasks

• Lead our global engineering team and drive the future of our data platforms.
• Own the entire technical ecosystem-architecture, infrastructure, security, and team leadership-while sitting at the executive table to shape major business initiatives.
• Mentor, manage, and grow a distributed engineering team across multiple time zones.
• Lead the modernization and framework migration without disrupting revenue.
• Scale high-availability platforms, optimize caching/queues, and oversee our data layer.
• Ensure uptime of revenue-critical systems and maintain compliance.
• Translate technical trade-offs into business, cost, and revenue impacts for leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of deep PHP development and a proven track record refactoring large legacy codebases.
• 5+ years leading, hiring, and scaling engineering teams.
• Distributed systems, event-driven queues, caching, and cloud architecture.
• Able to lead strategy at the leadership table, communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and roll up your sleeves when needed.
