Cisco ACI Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Juniper and Arista data center switching and routing, F5 Load Balancer, and hybrid cloud networking environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

The role involves technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting, high-level network design, cloud connectivity, automation, and cross-team collaboration.

Tasks

• Lead deployment, configuration, and optimization of Cisco ACI fabric components.
• Work with Juniper and Arista data center switching and routing.
• Manage load balancing and application delivery using F5 LTM/GTM, Enterprise Manager, vCMP, and Viprion.
• Design and configure ACI constructs, including VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, contracts, and associated policies.
• Implement segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies in ACI environments.
• Oversee ACI fabric maintenance, upgrades, and operational health checks.
• Partner with architects on high-level design decisions and solution validation.
• Design and implement hybrid connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Configure Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and cloud routing architectures.
• Work with Azure networking constructs, including VNET, NSG, ASG, UDR, ExpressRoute, and VNET Gateway.
• Integrate ACI with cloud-native networking services to support hybrid workload traffic flows.
• Ensure best practices for cloud network security, routing, and performance optimization.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, packet captures, and traffic-flow analysis.
• Lead incident root cause analysis and preventive remediation activities.
• Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Create operational runbooks,
