Splitle Freelance Recruiter is hiring a full-time Civil Engineer in Princeton, New Jersey. This on-site opportunity is suited to an early- to mid-career engineer interested in designing infrastructure projects and helping deliver practical solutions that support public safety and community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Use AutoCAD and other design software to prepare project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and environmental impact studies to inform design decisions.
- Coordinate with colleagues, clients, and contractors to meet project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and present project reports and proposals to stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support the development of junior engineers and interns through mentoring.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience using AutoCAD for engineering design.
- Zero to five years of civil engineering experience; entry-level and mid-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- EIT or PE certification is preferred.
