Mercor Ai is hiring a Visual Annotation Expert for a remote contract project based in the United States. Help improve artificial intelligence and machine learning systems by producing accurate, detailed visual annotations for diverse datasets. This role is suited to professionals with experience in film production, editing, screenwriting, archiving, media analysis, or exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate visual content in detail to support AI model training.
- Apply sound judgment to identify scene attributes and describe subtle narrative or emotional elements.
- Work with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and Mercor Ai project leads to meet annotation specifications.
- Review existing annotations, identify issues, and provide corrections and feedback.
- Use specialized annotation tools and suggest ways to improve workflows.
- Contribute to project planning by sharing annotation strategies and identifying potential challenges.
- Document annotation processes to support quality assurance.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high standards and project quality metrics.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a movie producer, film editor, screenwriter, archivist, or media analyst is preferred; detail-oriented generalists are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to describe scene details, narrative context, and emotional nuance accurately.
