Job description
Discount Locksmith LLC is seeking a skilled Commercial Locksmith Specialist to work as an independent contractor in Phoenix, Arizona. Based at 1021 E Washington St, Suite #202, Phoenix, AZ 85034, you will help commercial clients protect their properties by installing, repairing, and maintaining locking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial electronic locks, deadbolts, padlocks, and other locking systems.
- Respond to client questions, troubleshoot lock issues, and provide practical on-site solutions.
- Assess security needs and recommend suitable locking mechanisms for commercial properties.
- Keep accurate records of completed work, customer transactions, tools, and materials.
- Coordinate with contractors, property managers, and business owners to meet project deadlines and deliver timely service.
- Stay current with locksmithing practices, tools, and technologies.
- Attend training and safety meetings and follow applicable safety standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated lock installation, customer service, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and tool skills.
- Experience using common locksmithing tools and technologies required.
- One to three years of locksmithing or security services experience preferred.
- Industry-standard locksmith certifications are preferred but not required.
