Job description
Locksmith of Bernalillo is seeking an experienced Ignition Specialist to work as an independent contractor in Bernalillo, New Mexico. Use your automotive locksmithing expertise to diagnose and repair vehicle ignition issues, provide reliable key services, and help protect customers and their vehicles. This is an on-site role with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair ignition problems according to customer requests and vehicle specifications.
- Create replacement keys, extract broken keys, and reprogram transponder keys.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and recommend effective solutions.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Stay current with automotive locksmithing technology, tools, and techniques.
- Document completed services and maintain accurate records for billing and quality assurance.
- Support additional locksmithing tasks as needed, including training new contractors.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
