AEC National Recruiters is recruiting a full-time Construction Project Manager to oversee airport construction projects in New York City, NY. This is an on-site role; remote and hybrid work are not available. The position offers an annual salary of $125,000.
About the Role
Lead complex airport construction initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You will guide diverse project teams and coordinate stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop project schedules, track progress, and adjust plans to keep work on course.
- Communicate project updates and resolve issues with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Oversee cost estimates, expenditure tracking, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate contracts, permits, reports, and other project documentation.
- Lead team meetings to encourage collaboration and address project challenges.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant construction management experience.
- Demonstrated project management experience with airport or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
- Experience with construction management software and tools.
- PMP, CCM, or other industry-standard certifications are preferred.
