AEC National Recruiters is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead airport construction projects in New York City. This full-time role requires managing complex construction initiatives within a fast-paced airport environment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of airport construction projects, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop, implement, and monitor project schedules; adjust plans proactively to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee budgeting processes including cost estimation, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout construction activities.
- Coordinate project documentation such as contracts, permits, and reports for stakeholder review.
- Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and address project challenges efficiently.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing construction projects, preferably airport or large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
- Proficient with construction management software and tools.
- Industry certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
