Job description
UBER is hiring a full-time Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst in New York, NY. In this collaborative, fast-paced technology environment, you will turn complex data into insights that support business improvement and strategic decision-making. This position is on-site and reports to the Chief Data Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets and prepare reports that identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Use SQL and Python to extract and transform data from multiple databases.
- Build dashboards and visualizations with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate findings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines to support reliable data flows and data integrity.
- Apply data governance practices that improve data quality, compliance, and security.
- Continuously improve business intelligence processes to support strategic planning.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with cloud data solutions such as Azure and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data governance best practices.
- Two to three years of relevant data analysis or business intelligence experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Compensation and Employment
Salary: $60,000 per year. This is a full-time, on-site position in New York, NY.
