Job description

Optimize data pipelines that consume data from Amazon Kinesis and write to Oracle.
Improve exception handling for schema and data type mismatches.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting.
Build services to read and write data to NetApp object storage using S3 APIs.
Develop analytical datasets in Parquet or Apache Iceberg formats.
Create housekeeping scripts for log cleanup, archiving, compression, and object storage maintenance.

Strong hands-on experience with Python/Java and Data Engineering.
Experience building and deploying data pipelines using Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar frameworks.
Understanding of distributed data systems and real-time streaming architectures.
Hands-on experience with Amazon S3 APIs and object storage integration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and relational databases, including database connectors.
Experience developing REST APIs and data integration services.
Preferred: Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg.
Preferred: Experience with cloud-based data platforms, streaming pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
