Job Title: Tally Clerk & Stock Officer Company: Nanas Dea Enterprise Department: Warehouse & Inventory Management Reports To: Stock Manager Position Overview The Tally Clerk & Stock Officer is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock visibility, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role involves verifying, counting, and recording shipments, primarily imported poultry and fish cartons, updating inventory ledgers, generating stock reports, and resolving discrepancies. Key Responsibilities Stock Tallying & Verification Perform precise physical counts of all incoming and outgoing goods to confirm shipment accuracy. Inspect imported poultry and fish cartons for correct labeling, weight, and condition upon receipt. Track and log product lines, cuts, and brand labels accurately. Inventory Ledger & Record Management Maintain daily stock ledgers by converting physical counts into digital records and spreadsheets. Record stock transfers, sales releases, and returns promptly to ensure ledger accuracy. Update product classifications and organize historical inventory logs for audit readiness. Reporting & Communication Prepare and submit detailed stock reports to the Stock Manager, including opening balances, receipts, issuances, and closing stock levels. Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies for timely resolution.
