Job description
Tasks
- builds and maintains batch and streaming pipelines in Azure Databricks using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake, following a medallion lake‐house architecture.
- design and tune dimensional models and SQL workloads in Azure Synapse Analytics to support reporting and dashboards.
- orchestrates and monitors workflows with Databricks Jobs, Synapse pipelines, and Azure Data Factory, handling scheduling, alerting, and failure recovery.
- enforce data governance and security through Unity Catalog permissions, role‐based access, and data masking, ensuring compliance with HIPAA.
- documents solutions, collaborates with data architects, scientists, and project managers, and provides technical guidance to cross‐functional teams.
