Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Database Administrator to join our team in Muslimganj, Punjab, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain database management systems to optimize performance. Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Monitor and tune database performance, identifying issues and applying solutions proactively. Create and manage database security policies to protect sensitive information. Assist in data migration and integration tasks to ensure seamless data flow across systems. Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and manage complex database schemas. Document and maintain database processes, configurations, and standards for future reference. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems. Familiarity with database design and development best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with database security practices is a plus. Preferred certifications in database management (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft SQL Server certification). At least 3-5 years of experience in database administration or a related role.
