Job description
Tasks
- Support public health data modernization, programming automation, and system integration initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with SAS, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong experience in system integration, automation, and dashboard development.
- Experience working with structured/semi-structured healthcare or administrative data.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and database querying.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Expertise in data validation, testing, troubleshooting, and integration solutions.
- Ability to document technical specifications, business requirements, and workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with eCR/eICR, Electronic Health Records (EHR), or Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- Preferred: Knowledge of HL7, XML, FHIR, and SNOMED CT.
- Preferred: Experience with public health surveillance systems, registries, and data linkage.
