About the role

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a Director of Finance for Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, a teaching hospital in Downtown Bronx. The hospital offers services in Medicine, Pediatrics, and Women’s Health, along with more than eighty specialty services. Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Comptroller, plan, direct, and control the receipt, posting, processing, and distribution of invoices and supporting documents for accounting transactions.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on the current financial condition of NYC Health + Hospitals or a health care setting, and maintain books of accounts to meet System needs.
• Direct accounting, fiscal, and financial areas, including accounts payable, health care setting management and cost reporting systems, payroll accounts, special accounts, financial reports, data control, affiliation accounting, asset control, cash receipts and disbursements, daily investment of idle cash funds, general accounting, and capital accounting.
• Act in compliance with applicable governmental requirements.
