Director, Power Development

About the role

We're supporting a leading US independent power producer (IPP), developer, owner and operator with an exciting senior-level development opportunity.

The business is continuing to expand its portfolio of major power generation projects across the US.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing large utility-scale power generation projects.
• A proven track record of personally leading major projects through development.
• Direct experience leading large power projects through bank financial close - essential.
• Strong understanding of permitting, land and site control, interconnection, commercial agreements and late-stage development.
• Familiarity with title curative, real estate complexities and identifying potential risks ahead of financial close.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, finance, legal teams and external stakeholders.
• A commercially minded, proactive individual capable of taking ownership of complex projects.

Schedule

• Hybrid

Pay

• $185,000–$230,000 base salary
• up to 30% discretionary bonus
