Drupal Developer

About the role

Cloudious is seeking a Drupal Developer to complete a scope of work related to a home page redesign and improvements to site search capabilities. The position is for 15–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using Drupal as the content management system.
• Assist with website content placement, ensuring consistency, accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness, as well as graphic standards and WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Communicate and implement service-related links to other County departments and/or Federal, State, and Local agencies and related links.
• Ensure website security by regularly updating software, plugins, and themes, implementing security protocols, and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot website functionality, server configuration, and user access issues, working with IT support and external vendors as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr.
• Experience with front end development using the Drupal platform and web hosting environments.
• Knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS8 encryption, firewalls, and malware detection and prevention.
