Job description
Bluebix Solution is hiring a full-time Earthwork Estimator in Dallas, Texas. In this on-site construction role, you will prepare accurate earthwork estimates that help guide project budgets, bids, and successful construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork on construction projects.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to determine project scope and material requirements.
- Use AgTek or similar estimating software for cost analysis, estimates, and bids.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and clarify scopes of work.
- Track project costs and budget alignment as work progresses.
- Attend project meetings to discuss estimate changes, progress, and earthwork challenges.
- Maintain estimating databases and templates to support consistent, efficient proposals.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with AgTek or similar estimating software.
- 3–5 years of experience estimating earthwork or working in a related construction field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Construction management or estimating certifications are a plus.
