OPEC is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer in Manchester, New Hampshire. Join a collaborative engineering team developing innovative, high-quality, and sustainable electrical systems. This on-site role offers an annual salary of $90,000 and reports to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop circuit layouts, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Run simulations to validate designs and confirm compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and other engineering teams to integrate systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Test and analyze prototypes, document results, and recommend design improvements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Participate in project meetings about timelines, status, and resource allocation.
- Follow applicable safety regulations and engineering best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience in circuit design and electrical system analysis.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD and MATLAB.
- At least three years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or the intention to obtain it, is a plus.
