Job description
Tasks
- Assess electronic component obsolescence, supplier discontinuance, and EOL risks.
- Support alternate component qualification, redesign, and lifecycle management.
- Review schematics, PCBAs, bills of materials, and component specifications.
- Manage engineering changes, risk assessments, verification, and validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, design controls, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, medical devices, or a regulated industry.
- Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, electrical systems, and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of engineering change processes and product lifecycle management.
