Job description
Tasks
- Employment specialists support people with disabilities through job coaching, training and transportation to and from their work locations.
- They also build meaningful partnerships with local employers for future employment opportunities and collaborate with jobseeker’s support teams for long-term success.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a high school diploma or GED to qualify.
- Candidates must be able to work a variety of shifts.
- This position requires frequent travel throughout the region.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid New York state driver’s license or a high school diploma or GED.
