Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager based in Coffs Harbour, NSW, to strengthen community connections and stakeholder engagement within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on the North Coast. This is a full-time, community-focused role that requires active engagement outside the office. You will be a key representative of Yarning Crescent, building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, increasing referrals, and ensuring access to culturally safe services. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, and community organizations. Identify and create new opportunities for community engagement and service access. Promote culturally safe and inclusive practices across all interactions. Support community development initiatives aligned with Yarning Crescent’s mission. What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and community needs. Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or related roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Commitment to making a positive impact in Aboriginal communities.
