Yarning Crescent is seeking an Aboriginal Engagement Manager for a full-time, community-focused role based in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. You will build trusted relationships, strengthen partnerships, identify opportunities, and help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people access culturally safe services and supports across the North Coast.

About the role
This is not a desk-based position. As a key representative of Yarning Crescent, you will spend time in the community building relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholder and referral networks. You will help increase referrals, strengthen partnerships, identify service and workforce opportunities, and support positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Aboriginal communities and local stakeholders.
- Develop partnerships and referral pathways that improve access to culturally safe services and supports.
- Identify community needs, opportunities, and ways to strengthen engagement.
- Represent Yarning Crescent across community networks and stakeholder meetings.
- Work collaboratively with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, service providers, and other partners.
- Contribute to community development and positive outcomes for individuals and families.

- You understand the importance of culturally safe, community-led practice.
- You are organized, proactive, and able to identify opportunities and follow through.
- Experience in community engagement, partnerships, referrals, or related services is valuable.
